ADAM PARSONS
Children's & College Ministry
Pastor
Adam was born in Portland, Oregon and was raised
in the Portland area. Early on he received
exposure to the Gospel, but his real passion was
for soccer. At the age of sixteen, Adam found
himself discontented with life, wondering if
there was more to life than what he was
experiencing. In the midst of difficult
circumstances, also motivated by his mother’s
request, Adam began attending Calvary Chapel
Southeast in May of 2001. Several months later
he surrendered his life to Christ and discovered
the loving and living relationship with Jesus
Christ that God desires for all people to have
with Him.
Following a recommendation by his pastor, Adam
began attending Calvary Chapel Bible College (CCBC)
in January of 2003, completing his degree at an
extension campus in York, England. While in
York, Adam learned through others’ examples the
importance of walking in grace, and was given
the opportunity to serve as an intern at the
York Bible College for six months.
In January of 2006, Adam moved to Tucson, which
has proven to be life-changing in several ways.
Shortly after his move, Adam was brought on
staff as an intern pastor, now seeking to be
available to serve in whatever capacity the Lord
has for him. In March of 2007, Adam married his
girlfriend of two years and best friend,
Jessica.
“For the grace of God that brings
salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us
that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we
should live soberly, righteously, and godly in
this present age, looking for the blessed hope
and glorious appearing of our great God and
Savior Jesus Christ.” -- Titus 2:11-12
